Music events production collective, PopGun Presents, is opening a new warehouse venue in Brooklyn this fall called Elsewhere. Two of the space's three founders used to run the now-closed influential Williamsburg art and music space Glasslands, so they're sure to bring an experienced hand to this new venture.

Clocking in at 24,000 square feet, when Elsewhere opens in Bushwick in at an exact date TBA, it will feature two performance spaces, an open rooftop, art gallery, and loft bar. The rooftop will have its own bar, and the collective plans to utilize it for parties, film screenings, and art installations.

Stylistically, the venue will focus on presenting music across a wide range of genres, staying true to the expansive character of NYC's listenership. "We're lucky enough to live in a city with a massive diversity of taste. We plan on serving all of those communities inclusively with our programming choices," PopGun co-founder Rami Haykal said in a press release.

The PopGun collective affirms in the press release that they will remain true to the independent spirit that guided Glasslands at its prime.

The operation will also create a multi-disciplinary arts program called Landscape that will focus on performances, commissions, and community events. Igal Nassima, founder of the Bushwick art and tech space 319 Scholes, has been appointed artistic director for the project.
