One of the best things about sitting in a window seat during a daytime flight is when the aircraft researches the stratosphere. No matter how terrible the weather down on earth is, you most likely see a spectacular snow white sea of billowing clouds below your line of sight. Inspired by this breathtaking scene through an airplane window, Chinese musician Leung Kei-chuek, aka GayBird, created a dreamy music score that has become his latest sound installation When The Cloud Is Low.“By making use of a fog machine and video projection, I wish to re-create the experience of looking down at clouds that doesn't require one being up high in the sky. They are now flying low for you.” GayBird explains. " You can also listen to the sound of clouds, their transformation from water synchronized with images… and your imagination.
