Journey is destined to be a classic video game, I think, but I found it more confused than anything.

It's an excellent old-school dungeon bash, based on a sort of game that used to be big but isn't really made anymore.

'Mass Effect 3' is pretty good. By that I mean 'Mass Effect 3' is astonishingly excellent, except for one bit that's controversial and unsatisfying for many.

For those unaware, this is the new Star Wars MMORPG. It’s Electronic Arts’ attempt at competing with World of Warcraft, a game I never got into but that everyone else on the planet seems to play.

"Twisted Metal" for PS3 is exactly the game you're hoping for if you want to drive cars with guns on them and blow up other cars.

In "Eufloria," you play as seedlings and growing trees on asteroids. After playing it on PS3 and PC, I was excited to see it out on iPad, because it gave me an excuse to write about it.

The name of this game translates to "Disability Girls," though that's inaccurate--the word "katawa" in this context is an unprintable epithet for the disabled, connoting worthlessness.

"Revelations" is a decrepit continuation of a once-captivating franchise, which is appropriate given that it's about the aging of its two protagonists, Ezio and Altaïr.
