Apartamento is basically the bible when it comes to unpretentious interiors. The magazine has offered us sneaky little glimpses into the private spaces of people like Chloe Sevigny, Ken Done, Raymond Pettibon and Michael Stipe—and now it looks like their cult following isn’t going to stop at slightly voyeuristic adults. The Barcelona-based publication has made its foray into book publishing with the release of its first title, a children’s book that teaches kids the alphabet.

Called ABC: Fotos, the book features photographs shot by Apartamento contributors. Juergen Teller, Terry Richardson, Wolfgang Tillmans, Ryan Lowry, Lukas Wassmann, Robbie Whitehead, Ola Rindal and more have all provided images to go alongside various letters, with most of them shooting something specifically for the book. In true Apartamento style, the photos are fun and a little bit unconventional—smiling spilt milk, a spoon balanced on someone’s nose, and jam oozing out of a donut are all teaching aids here. It’s pretty clear that this book is supposed to be shamelessly enjoyed by humans big and small.

The first edition of the book has been published in Catalan, with proceeds going to the Enriqueta Villavecchia Foundation, who work with kids who have cancer and their families. See some of the spreads from the book below:
