Known for their soup cans and sunflower seeds, Andy Warhol and Ai Weiwei are two of the most important names in recent art history. The National Gallery of Victoria is bringing together the two pop visionaries for one massive show this December. The biggest contemporary show in the gallery’s history, Andy Warhol | Ai Weiwei will feature over 300 works—from Warhol’s silkscreen prints and celebrity snaps to new, exclusive works by Ai Weiwei (such as the buzzy Lego sculpture). Today, the NGV also announced their largest Friday Nights at NGV line-up, which will see a meeting of music and art.
