Stare at Oleg Soroko's digital images from his Curve Descent Pattern series too long and you might get seasick. The Russian architect and CG artist's latest work resembles a body of water hit with a deluge of pebbles, splashing up countless strands of linear forms into labyrinthine landscapes. The more you gaze into one of his 3D images, the easier it is to get lost in the beautiful medley.

Soroko writes on his Behance page that the images came from a series of experiments with code. "I used 'Gradient Descent' and 'Marching Cubes' algorithms," he writes, adding that he implemented Rhino, 3DS Max and Photoshop to combine lines and isosurfaces. Take a look at some of the images below, just be careful about how long you stare for.
