Watch Ishod Wair Become A Jedi Master In Star Wars-Skateboarding Mashup

Skateboarder Ishod Wair rips so much that we wouldn't be surprise to see one of his railslides tear a hole in the space-time continuum. Therefore, it makes perfect sense that videographer and artist René took footage of Thrasher's 2013 Skater of the Year and remixed it with iconic scenes from Star Wars to create Wair's Stars. For lack of a better phrase, the kid's skills are out of this world.

The three-minute clip features videos of Wair in a variety of skate contests and settings, but replaces the background scenery with images of TIE Fighters, the atmosphere going into warp speed, and the Death Star. So as the skater lands back smiths and stylish ollie norths, Darth Vader and co. loom over him. But—like a true Jedi Master—Wair nails every move, proving the force is strong with this young skater.
