Action Movies Trip on Acid in This Animated Music Video

Azel Phara's new video from the team who brought you the title sequence for Netflix’s 'Marco Pollo’.

Multicolored tanks, neon fighter planes, and candy-bright submarines chase fleeing figures through a storm of color and debris through Azel Phara’s new music video, Green. The animated short was directed by English duo bif and produced byMill+the production team/artist collective responsible for the title sequence of the Netflix’s original series Marco Pollo. Through a unique and creative animation that incorporates gravity, motion physics, and the power of the elements, the video investigates the physical imprint of combat.

The short film was animated entirely in CG using motion capture technology. According to the producers' website, the film “represents the threat of man-made weapons to nature and human life.” The directors add, “We wanted to create visuals that were full of contrasts; Minimal to complex, pastel to vivid, earth to air, silent to loud, light to heavy, green to RGB.” Below, see selected moments and watch the film in full.
