Take A Chaotic, Glitchy Journey Into The Divine With GOD KNOX

Kokofreakbean’s latest video is a is a jumble of abstract, colorful forms and tranny shamans.

Kokofreakbean‘s videos merge color, chaos, and a dash of abstraction to take you on a glitchy, lo-fi journey into a digital hinterland where you are bombarded with clashing imagery and sounds, making you wonder whether you’re having some kind of digital rebirth or breakdown.

His latest video GOD KNOX proudly follows this anarchic aesthetic, where a jumble of forms are whisked before you, leaving you wondering what it was you just watched. Trying to find a narrative to the piece is also a bit of a losing battle, although he says it centers around the creation of gods and goddesses.

He tells Triangulation Blog:

GOD KNOX is my gentle, fart-like blitz of a myth revolving around the creation of divinities. It begins with a zesty summoning ritual betwixt several tranny shamans and ends with a personal nirvana. After becoming increasingly dissatisfied with the 2D jigsaw flatness of my previous work, I intended this project to feature more three-dimensional environments and slightly more protracted pacing. This new emphasis allowed me to dwell on compositions and apply more new techniques than ever before.
