The Creators Project: Seoul 2012 kicked off on Saturday with DJ Andow, leading into a resurrection of post-modern grunge from Seoul’s original indie band 3rd Line Butterfly. After an appearance from electro artist and hip-hop producer Nosaj Thing, K-pop's most popular girl group 2ne1, Korean rapper Drunken Tiger, and Korean electronica band Idiotape rocked the stage.

On view all weekend were installations like Chris Milk's The Treachery of Sanctuary, Matt Pyke's large-scale projection of disintegrating dancers, Supreme Believers, Everyware’s Levitate, #Creators Live, and Yang Yongliang’s hypnotic video-looped cityscape The Day of Perpetual Night.
