A Rick and Morty's superfan has just replicated one of the dark sci-fi sitcom's most relatable characters in real life thanks to 3D printing technology and cheap robotics. In the episode Something Ricked This Way Comes, Rick gives a robot artificial intelligence and the life purpose of passing its creator butter across the dinner table. Horrified at this realization, the robot slouches downward and lets out an "Oh my god" that could make anyone stuck at a soulless job break down and cry in sympathy. Redditor andredotcom, a.k.a. ESDEV, recreated the scene with an actual 3D-printed robot that passes the butter, slouches, and sighs in existential angst just like the original.Keep an eye on andredotcom's Blogspot, where he's planning to drop the STL files and schematics, so Rick and Morty fans can build their own sisyphean butter bots. Season 3 of Rick and Morty hasn't been officially announced yet, but producer Dan Guterman has tweeted saying production is finished.
