'Foresta Lumina' Is a Real-Life Enchanted Forest

See the trailer and photos for Moment Factory's multi-sensory, woodland installation inspired by fairy tales.

Thanks to an immersive installation project that took place last year, enchanted forests are now a reality. Visitors explored FORESTA LUMINA, an illuminated, spellbinding night trail created by new media and entertainment studio Moment Factory (previously). Inspired by folklore and fairy tales, the multi-sensory installation transformed Parc de la Gorge in Coaticook Canyon, Canada into a Grimm-like adventure.

"Most of today’s multimedia experiences are found in urban settings," Moment Factory writes. But this project used "the forest and its spaces, topography, detours and mysteries" as the canvas for this stunning experience.

"It’s all about goosebumps," Gabriel Pontbriand of Moment Factory told The Creators Project. Multimedia Director Marie Belzil agreed, adding, "It will bring you a story inspired from an invented mythology." If you missed it before, don't worry, FORESTA LUMINA is set to return in 2016.

See some photos and a teaser of FORESTA LUMINA below, and stay tuned for our documentary on the installation, exclusively on The Creators Project.
