Even though upcoming creator, Matthew Herbert’s, record One Club was technically released on Monday…tonight, if you’re in London, hear the album live at Hoxton Square Bar and Kitchen. In making this album, the experimental sound artist recorded noise and organic clamor from a single night at a club in Frankfurt, placing microphones in the most public locations: the dance floor and bar as well as the more private places: the bathroom, bar office…and even a taxi cab filled with partygoers (though we’re not sure if they were trailed pre or post party). Herbert then remixed the documentation into his new album…literally the sounds from one club, on one night.
