Body art takes on a whole new meaning in archtiecture-inspired artist Michael Jantzen's surreal collage series Body Reconstructions. Just as he builds modular sculptures from stone, and long-exposure paintings with Christmas lights, Body Reconstructions sees the artist building unreal forms and characters with his own unabashedly-revealed body. "My photo art collage kit of parts included images of my hands, feet, legs, chest, back, and head," he explains to The Creators Project. "I want viewers to respond to my work in such a way that inspires them to think more creatively about the world around them."It takes a lot of balls (thankfully not pictured) to put forward your own hairy back as art, but Jantzen's anatomically incorrect creations definitely worth a thorough examination:
