See Photos And Video Of A Man Climbing The Tallest Building In China

This will probably be replicated in an action flick one day.

After seeing Vadim Makhorov's photos of himself climbing the tallest structure in China, we have to admit that our first question was if he took a selfie. Then the shock kicked in: the Russian photographer, previously known for taking pics at the apex of Egypt's Great Pyramid, scaled the 2,073-foot-tall Shanghai Tower…without permission.

Makhorov climbed the behemoth at night during the Chinese New Year day to evade both cranes and construction workers, as the building is still under construction. "Aware of the strict Chinese law, we prepared carefully and picked an appropriate date," he wrote on his LiveJournal.

The stunt is brazen, stunning, and artistic in a graceful and acrobatic sense. Check out photos of his massive climb below, as well as video footage of the acrobatic endeavor. This will probably be replicated in an action flick one day.
