The World's First Interactive Shoppable Music Video

See something you like? Just click on the item and go buy it.

Not sure if this is a good thing or the end of space-time as we know it, but it’s certainly a thing. This video is the first music video where you can purchase clothes that the people in it are wearing directly through the video itself.

Montreal-based SSENSE, a designer clothes shop, teamed up with FKI, Iggy Azalea, and Diplo to create what they’re calling a "music video look book". It uses wireWAX technology—a taggable video tool—to let you buy the clothes the artists are wearing directly through the interactive video for the track “I Think She Ready”.

By clicking on the “S” tag that appears on the artists, it gives you the option to “Shop This Look,” and once you click that you’re taken through to the screen below which breaks down the outfit for you. Then you can view a product and have the option of going through to SSENSE’s website to buy it. It also gives you the option along the bottom to go back and click what you may’ve missed, telling you how many clicks each part has received.
