Watch a Surreal Mirrored Timelapse of Tokyo's Skyline

Timelapser Darwinfish105 makes a mesmerizing mirrorlapse for Japanese artist LLLL's single, "Only to Silence ft. Metoronori."

Tokyo's flashing billboards and towering skyscrapers are mesmerizing enough as it is, but this ambitious mirrorlapse from Tiny Tokyo creator Darwinfish105 showcases the city in a brain-bending new light. Rather than experimenting with tilt-shift or spherical lenses, the filmmaker captures the sprawling metropolis on an epic scale, soaring over buildings and hyperlapsing through underground train tunnels to match artist LLLL's breakneck electronic beats. The short doubles as a music video for LLLL's new track, "Only to Silence ft. Metoronori," from his upcoming album, Progressive Form, set for release on March 15th. Preview Progressive Form here, or you just get lost in Tokyo's surreal mirrored skyline in the images below.
