Unfortunately, booking a one way ticket to Patagonia and embarking on a year-long odyssey across South America isn’t always practical. This is when The Adventure Handbook comes in handy, its curated collection of personal photographs and stories offering vicarious travel experiences from around the world. Earlier this year, the site hosted its first ever travel photography competition, with The Creators Project sitting on the judging panel. Entries made their way from farflung places like Mongolia, Peru and Iceland.Here are some of our favourite images from the winning and shortlisted photographers.
